Any person may ship firearms directly to a licensee in any State, with no requirement for another licensee to ship the firearm. However, handguns and other concealable firearms are not mailable through the United States Postal Service and must be shipped via private common or contract carrier (18 U.S.C. § 1715). The USPS and private common or contract carriers may also have additional restrictions on firearms shipments by unlicensed persons. Firearms shipped to FFLs for repair or any other lawful purpose may be returned to the person from whom received without transferring the firearm through an FFL in the recipient’s State of residence. FFLs may also return a replacement firearm of the same kind and type to the person from whom received (18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(2)(A)). An ATF Form 4473 is required for the return of the firearm, except in instances when a firearm is delivered to a licensee for the sole purpose of repair or customizing, and the same firearm or a replacement firearm is returned to the person from whom received (27 CFR § 478.124(a)).

1.   What colors can you engrave?

A.  Technically, the laser does NOT engrave in color. However, there are certain techniques we can apply to achieve dark/light/contrasting shades. We can also create basic colors (red, blue, green) on Pmags.

2.  Can you engrave a photograph?

A.  No. Lasers can engrave photographs, but we do not offer this technique/service.

3.  Can you engrave my Yeti (or any brand) tumbler/cup/mug?

A.  Yes, with a minimum order of 25 of the same graphic. Price depends on the complexity of the graphic

4.  Can you engrave glassware?

A.  No.

5.  How large of an item can you engrave?

A.  The laser has a working surface of 8"x8", but we can often split graphics into separate 8" pieces to achieve larger graphics. The laser can accommodate objects up to 12" tall. Contact us if you have something odd/large.

6.  Can you cut slide serrations/holes?

A.  Yes and no.  The laser is capable of cutting steel, but due to the length of time, it is best to use other cutting devices.

7.   What types of files do you work with?

A.  Mostly Vector files. However, we can convert most PNG or JPEG files or other image files.

** Images convert to black and white. If your image has shading or low contrast, the results are less desirable. In these cases, additional charges will apply as our graphics team processes the image.
